Ammar Sacco was originally registered as All Churches Sacco in December 2004 under the Co-operatives Societies Act Cap 490 to address the financial needs of its members. In 2019, we rebranded and adopted the name Ammar Sacco to better reflect our evolving mission and diverse membership.

In January 2012, we launched our Front Office Savings Activity (FOSA) and have since been licensed by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) to operate as a deposit-taking SACCO.

Our membership primarily comes from Murang’a and Kiambu counties, but we welcome members from across Kenya. We serve a diverse clientele, including farmers, civil servants, teachers, employees from various organizations, youth, women, persons with disabilities, and business people.
